Pathfinder:Kingmaker for those that loved BG, NWN (D&D)

I stumbled over a new game based on the Dungeon & Dragons ruleset for Pathfinder called Pathfinder:Kingmaker

It's a computer single-player RPG using the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game system, by Owlcat Games.

For those of you familiar with Dungeons & Dragons and the D20 rulesett and love it I highly recommend it. It got some bugs still, but I have not run into any gamebreaking ones so far and the developers seems to be really on the ball and rapidly updating with hotfixes on a weekly basis.

If you loved games like Baldurs Gate and Never Winter Nights back in the days I would recommend having a look at this, it's available on Steam.
If you have no idea what D&D and D20 are, I think it can be a bit daunting and confusing as to what to choose and do, but a lot of things can be automated when it comes to character creation and leveling if you have no idea what to do :) (For me that is one of the most interesting parts...)

Sounds like a game I would enjoy. Might look into it as a game for the new year. I'll also have a pc to run it by then and they have the time to iron out some bugs.

Word of warning. I am unsure if people have yet to finish the game due to game breaking bugs that have yet to be fixed 100%

Also many of the abilities do not work as described, if at all.

Aye, there are indeed some game breaking bugs, I ran into them after a while. In my case related to managing the kingdom just spiraling out of control without any way to recover causing the game to end.
To bad because it really have potential.
